Andrew DAVIS

Clinical Psychologist

Andrew is a clinical psychologist who has a down-to-earth and friendly approach. He has experience in both public and private mental health sectors supporting people with a range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, postnatal depression, trauma, OCD, and recovery from psychosis (including identifying early warning signs and relapse prevention). He is also experienced working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

During training, Andrew gained experience working with families in the perinatal period and has a particular interest in supporting mothers and fathers with difficulties leading up to or after the birth of their baby. Andrew also has a growing interest in supporting members of the defence force and their families.

Andrew believes that treatment works best when it is collaborative, and can balance getting to the core of an issue while also being light-hearted. He uses evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

Andrew is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a full member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
