Clinical Psychologist

Alicia is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with both individuals and families across public and private mental health settings. Alicia’s approach is characterised by authenticity, compassion, and she strives to assist individuals in overcoming their challenges, improving their mental health, and enhancing their overall quality of life. She values building a strong, trusting, and safe therapeutic relationship with her clients.

Alicia employs evidence-based therapies and tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. She draws from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion Focused Therapy. By working collaboratively with her clients, Alicia assists them in setting and working towards their therapeutic goals.

Alicia’s areas of interest and experience include anxiety, depression, body image and disordered eating, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress management, and navigating life transitions. Alicia enjoys working with adolescents and young adults to navigate the challenges and important transitions that arise in this period of life. She also has a strong interest in providing perinatal support to parents. Alicia recognises the integral connection between the mind and body in the healing process.

As a dedicated yoga student and practitioner, she has received training in Trauma-Informed Yoga. When appropriate, she incorporates these principles into her therapeutic work.

Alicia is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA number, PSY0001889090. She is an accredited Medicare clinical psychology service provider.
